Monthly Contest
Want to win some free guitar goodies and have a great time doing so? Get ready to enter our new ONLINE monthly Guitar Guru Competition to be in the win starting this July! Simply improvise on our contest track (to be availed on our official platforms) and let us select the top picks & have the public vote for you based on originality and artistic efforts. The monthly contest is a buildup event set to run from July – October & will subsequently culminate into the ultimate GUITAR GURU competition in November. So, this is how it works;
- The ONLINE monthly competition is a FREE ENTRY contest open to all guitarists in Kenya
- An official backing track for each monthly competition will be availed on our official platforms
- Once the track is availed, contestants will have at least 1 WEEK to improvise on the piece & then submit the finished piece (in video) to us via email (guru@nairobiguitarfestival.com) or through our official platforms on WhatsApp & Facebook. You can also tag us on Twitter and Instagram with your video using the hashtags below #NairobiGuitarFestival #NGF #GuitarGuruKE #GuitarGuru2020
- Only one entry will be accepted per person, per month. Participants are allowed to enter the contest afresh on each consecutive month
- Only the top entry videos (as selected by our team) will be availed for polling on our official Facebook page (Guitar Guru). Each monthly winner will be chosen at the end of each month through a decision matrix.
